Exports made from free zones are exempt from the provisions of the Communiqué on Decree No. 32 on the Protection of the Value of Turkish Currency (About Export Prices) (Communiqué No: 201832/48). There is no obligation to bring the export revenues to the country and convert them into Turkish Lira.

In addition, the obligation to make contracts in Turkish Lira pursuant to the Communiqué on Decree No. 32 on the Protection of the Value of Turkish Currency (2008-32/34) does not apply to free zone users.
